Andrea Ojeda

Andrea Ojeda was born and raised in Mexico City in an artistic and musical family. She studied Dramatic Literature and Theater at UNAM, during which time she participated in various theatrical and film projects. She lived in several countries and diverse cities while dedicating herself to her family, until she ended up in Chicago, where she joined Aguijón Theater. In Chicago, she was also a member of the editorial board of Contratiempo magazine, writing and editing articles in Spanish about Latine life, art, and culture in the United States. In her free time, she sang in a choir and played in a rock band.

As an actress in Aguijón Theater she participated in: The House of Bernarda Alba, Romeo and JulietNocturnal Creatures, A House of Her Own & Brutallity. She was also part of the Editorial team & Research historical commitee, as well as co-editor of the book Aguijón 30 años|Aguijón 30 years.

She currently lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she continues with theatrical and musical projects and learns about Dutch history and culture. (let her know if you want a tour).
